چکیده

Actinidia arguta fruit (also known as kiwiberry) has a remarkable phytochemical profile, being reported promising preventive agent/treatment for chronic diseases and desirable source of bioactive molecules pharmaceutical cosmetic industries. Despite these indications, investigating the full potential A. remains an unmet need health applications. This work aims to determine optimal extraction conditions antioxidant/antiradical compounds from (commonly kiwiberry), using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). The effects probe amplitude (30%-70%), sonication time (5-30 min) water:ethanol solvent ratio (0%-100%) were assessed. achieved 50% water, during 17.5 min 50%. A total 22 compounds, including 6 flavonoids 4 phenolic acids, identified in extract through HPLC-ESI-QTOF-MS, which exhibited outstanding antioxidant antiradical activities (TPC = 18.705 mg GAE/g dw; FRAP 186.876 µmol FSE/g ABTS 16.334 AAE/g O2·− IC50 829.384 µg/mL; HOCl 16.895 ROO· 0.18 µg TE/mg dw). Moreover, it displayed antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (MIC 32 mg/mL) Pseudomonas gingivalis 64 reduced growth rate Escherichia coli. In-vitro assays demonstrated that successfully decreased viability two human carcinoma cell lines, namely TR146 HSC-3, at 500 µg/mL above µg/mL, respectively. present study showed is rich with be used pro-healthy purposes.

Effects of solvents and extraction methods on the content and antiradical activity of polyphenols from fruits Actinidia arguta, Crataegus monogyna, Gaultheria procumbens and Schisandra chinensis.

BACKGROUND In line with the current tendency towards the production of the so-called safe foods, the use of environmentally-friendly methods for the extraction of polyphenols from fruits has been sought. Citric acid is a good solvent in the preparation of phenolic compounds for the food and pharmaceutical industries because it is a natural antioxidant and is non-toxic for the environment. Furth...

Microwave-assisted extraction of polyphenols from Camellia oleifera fruit hull.

The abundant fruit hulls of tea-oil tree (Camellia oleifera) are still underutilized and wastefully discaded to pollute the environment. In order to solve this problem and better utilize the fruit hulls of C. oleifera, a microwave-assisted extraction system was used to extract their polyphenols using water as the extraction solvent. A central composite design (CCD) was used to monitor the effec...
